Outcomes Report

Our focus on outcome evaluation and investment in research-based approaches has
significantly improved child abuse prevention practice over the years. To ensure that
WCPCAN funding is achieving the prevention of child maltreatment and that taxpayer dollars
are being spent wisely, all community-based programs report outcomes on an annual
basis.

The outcomes reported by WCPCAN-funded programs show that these programs make a significant
difference in the lives of vulnerable families and contribute to the prevention of child abuse
and neglect in Washington.
